I.  The Easterly Wind

Sweet whispers of an eastern wind

One blade of grass bows.

II.The Northerly Wind

Panes of glass rattle in the icy and cruel wind of the North.

III.  The Southerly Wind

Leaves dance in the Southerly wind

with the rhythm of their shadows.

IV.  The Westerly Wind

Strong as an axeman, and as resolute,

The Western wind shakes the branches of trees

Until they crack.
