The Gift of the Magi is a chamber opera in one act that was performed in a concert version with piano in 2006 by Duke University Opera Workshop.  The opera is 40 minutes long and is scored for four voices, choir and 13 instruments.    It is based on the Christmas story by O. Henry, with a libretto adapted by the composer.
